Coach Tim Comments on Joelyn:

Oh Joelyn, where to start with Jo. This woman is one of the most dedicated individuals you will ever meet. She commits her life to her family first, work, and then herself. She gives of herself like no other. You can bet, if you ask Joelyn what she is doing right now, she could probably ramble off 14 charities, tri club responsibilities and yes, occasionally a great ride with her husband Mike and friends. She has developed into one incredible cyclist. She is not afraid to challenge herself. Joelyn is planning to compete in her first sprint triathlon this year. She will also compete in several longer biker events along with El Tour De Tucson.


Joelyn Comments on Coach Tim:

I have known Tim Bolen professionally and personally for several years and have since gone from housewife with virtually no athletic experience and weekend house cleaning to a cyclist with many accomplishments! I have not only learned what “pain and endurance” mean from the very beginning stages, but have gained a true “passion” for healthy strong living, goal setting, striving for nothing less than the best and enjoy a love for cycling and the sport of Triathlon ! Some of the toughest days on the bike, “coach” was there in his truck to support, encourage and make sure I finished the ride…yeah…. I have embraced the importance of team, balance, charity and family from Tim’s many talents and experience! He has taken my husband Mike from the couch to his 3rd Ironman Triathlon this year but I will let him share that with you…. I have with Tim’s help goals to accomplish on my bike, have started to run, will learn to swim, and at 46 years old will complete a dream and finish my first Triathlon this year!
