Kim completed her first Sprint Triathlon in 2000 through her brother's influence. After half-heartedly training for the same Sprint the next few years she decided it was time to take it to the next level. At that point she decided to take racing a little more seriously. Growing up swimming made the swim portion the easiest part for Kim and her preference for cycling makes training that much easier, running is where the challenge is! Kim has found a new passion in training for and racing 1/2 and Iron disance races.
