After watching from the sidelines of a few of my partner Dan Springborn's events, I decided very quickly that i wanted to give it a TRI :) I took my first strokes in a pool in April 2006. Starting from the beginning I learning to put my face in the water to learn to float, I took a few spin classes a week until i had enough money to purchase a bike, and i already had been an avid runner. I was off to a great start. I purchased my very first bike Sept of 2006 and participated in my very first sprint triathlon, The Las Vegas Triathlon on September 24th 2006. From that day forward i was hooked!!! I love My Bike!!

Highlights:

• 8/03/08- San Fransisco Marathon (my first) with a finishing time of 3:46
• 6/29/08- Buffalo Springs 70.3 TX with a total time of 5:26:22, placing 8th in my age group

I have participated in several races including the Chances for Children Tri, Dick Tomlin's Spirit of Triathlon, Las vegas Tri, Mountain Man, Pumpkinman, Las Palomas, and more...I love to Race!

Next years big events will include Hawaii 70.3 in May and the IMAZ in November...another big year with much to look forward to.
